FS25: Explore the Three Diverse Maps Available at Launch
Some exciting new information has emerged about the upcoming Farming Simulator 25. All the pictures are from the US-based map. Apologies for the blurry images; they are the best available. Nevertheless, FS25 looks amazing!
The three maps available at launch include the Zielonka map for Central Europe, previously released as DLC in the last expansion, which will be updated and integrated with FS25’s improvements. The American map will be showcased during FarmCon in July, while the Asian map will be revealed in the fall.
Three new crops are being introduced: two types of rice (wet rice and dry rice) and spinach. While there are many varieties of rice, these selections balance hardware and gameplay needs, with both types of rice gameplay to be demonstrated at FarmCon. Excitingly, rice cultivation will be possible on all maps.
Regarding animals, buffaloes will be featured, focusing on milk production rather than meat for now. Details on baby animals and growth stages will be announced later.
Motorcycles are confirmed, with the Aprilia license secured. Terrain deformation will be shown at FarmCon, with Giants referring to it as “deformation of the terrain” rather than “dynamic terrain.” Graphical improvements will focus on shadows and climatic effects, such as fog and rain. Screenshots of the American map indicate the return of construction missions, like renovating unfinished silos.
For collector’s editions, the USB key switch will be plastic and allow vehicles to be turned on and off. The USB rotating beacon from the FS22 collector’s edition will also be compatible.
Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the release date!
