FS25 Riverbend Springs: Map Breakdown and Trailer Highlights

Riverbend Springs is a stunning farming region featured in Farming Simulator 25, celebrated for its lush, fertile land and meandering rivers that offer ideal conditions for a variety of agricultural activities. The map is filled with charming rural elements like a quaint farmer’s market, rustic barns, and towering windmills, providing a truly immersive farming experience. Whether you’re cultivating crops, tending to livestock, or managing resources, Riverbend Springs presents a vibrant environment that challenges players to expand their farms and embrace the role of a modern-day farmer. With its combination of open landscapes and picturesque beauty, it’s an idyllic setting for players to enjoy the peacefulness of farm life while honing their farming strategies.

Navigating Rivers and Ferries in Riverbend Springs

Riverbend Springs features a landscape rich with rivers, offering two ways to navigate across them. One option is to use the numerous bridges scattered throughout the map, while the other introduces a brand-new gameplay element: ferries. For the first time in Farming Simulator 25, players can use ferries to transport their crops across the waterways and deliver their harvests to market. This unique addition provides a fresh approach to logistics and expands the farming experience in exciting new ways.

We also catch a glimpse of a houseboat. Could this suggest the option to live on the water? The scenery is beautiful, with incredible detail along the riverbanks that adds to the stunning atmosphere. The new Giants Engine really shines here, with the fog hovering over the river looking impressively realistic and enhancing the overall immersion.

Characters & Third-Person Gameplay

Thanks to the Player Creation Tool, you can fully customize and personalize your character. We can anticipate a variety of new player characters in Farming Simulator 25. Additionally, this trailer reveals gameplay from a third-person perspective. We already knew this feature would be included in Farming Simulator 25, and now it’s officially confirmed.

Renovation Projects and Building Features

The trailer reveals several building and wagon renovations, part of the new “Renovation Projects” feature, which we’ve discussed in more detail here. These projects allow players to build farmhouses, collect unique items, and refurbish wagons. New buildings, such as Gasket, Central Cafe, Hardware Bob, and Big Moo’s Dairy (a shop specializing in milk, cheese, and butter), have been added, featuring nostalgic American-style details. The map also includes the Grain Mill Museum, where you can display collectibles, and with the “Construction Project” feature, you can repair or renovate this historical building.

In addition, the Working Buttons building appears to be a tailor shop, while the Crossing Point Ropes factory introduces rope production as a new feature in Farming Simulator 25. Lastly, since Riverbend Springs is an American map, it wouldn’t be complete without an American football field!

More Honey and New Beekeeping Features

One of the most thrilling reveals in this trailer is the return of bees to Farming Simulator 25. This time, the beehives have a completely revamped look, setting them apart from the designs we’ve seen in previous versions of the game. While the exact mechanics of how bees and honey production will function remain a mystery, it’s clear that exciting changes are in store for beekeepers. We’re eagerly anticipating more details in upcoming announcements, which will hopefully shed light on how this feature will enrich gameplay and expand farm management options.
