Discover the Upcoming Carpathian Countryside Map in FS25
With Farming Simulator 25 just under three weeks from launch, modders are already hard at work crafting new content. We’ve gathered updates on some of the mods currently in development, including an exciting map called Carpathian Countryside.
The Carpathian Countryside Map is being developed by MrHector mods, who has shared some early preview screenshots, giving fans a taste of what’s to come. He confirmed that he’ll dive back into modding once FS25 is released to continue refining the Carpathian Countryside.
It’s still too early to dive into specific features, as much will depend on the modding tools available in Farming Simulator 25. However, with MrHector mods’ dedication, we can expect big things for this map. For now, let’s take a look at what’s been revealed so far and anticipate the new features FS25 will bring to modders and players alike.
Exploring Additional Fields and Farmlands
All fields on the map have now been divided into two or more smaller sections, increasing the number of available farmlands. This change enhances gameplay by allowing players to purchase fields individually at lower prices, with the flexibility to merge them later if desired.
Another major advantage of this update is its impact on missions, especially with the addition of more root crops in FS25. For example, harvesting a crop like carrots would take much longer on a massive field, such as the original field 9 in the current public map version. By breaking fields into smaller plots, missions become more manageable and enjoyable for players.
Enhanced Livestock Care with the Heiger Stable
While playing on the map, he discovered an issue with the bunker silos, the left-side silo is positioned too close to the one behind it, causing partial overlap when opening. This isn’t a major problem unless using the Maize Plus mod, which changes the silage type in any opened section.
After investigating, he realized the only solution, even in FS25, was to increase the distance between the silos. He chose to fill the extra space with a heifer stable, enhancing the map’s resemblance to the real-life farm it’s based on.
The area around the bunker silos was adjusted accordingly, maintaining the farm’s original size. With the addition of animal growth stages in FS25, this setup will be a great fit for console players as well.
Upgraded Liquid Manure Tank Model for Improved Efficiency
In the FS22 map version, the modder used an older liquid manure tank model from previous Farming Simulator games, as other priorities took precedence. However, this won’t be the case in Farming Simulator 25, where it’s finally time for an upgrade. Recently, the modder found time to create a custom model for the tank, which will replace those on the main farm and pig farm.
The new model also includes a hidden feature: from the top platform, you can “use” the ladder to peek inside the tank, adding a touch of realism and interactivity.
Organize Your Farm with the New Bale Shed Model
The previous Farming Simulator version’s shed model was initially used, but Farming Simulator 25 will introduce an updated bale shed model. This new design will replace the old bale shed on both the pig and sheep farms.
That’s the latest information available on the Carpathian Countryside Map. We’re looking forward to its release from MrHector mods, who will hopefully share it with the community soon. To stay updated on the map’s progress, be sure to visit MrHector mods Facebook page.
