FS25 New Machinery: Meet the MacDon Pack
Giants Software has introduced a new MacDon trailer for Farming Simulator 25, bringing exciting additions to the game. The MacDon pack comes in two formats: first, as a pre-order bonus with the MacDon pack itself, and second, with the FD 250 Flex Draper header included in the base game. For those unfamiliar, the MacDon pack is available as a pre-order bonus for players on Steam, Epic, Xbox, PlayStation, and those purchasing directly from the Giants Shop. Additionally, players who order the physical collector’s edition will also receive it.
Let’s break down what’s shown in the trailer. The M1240 Windrower is pulling the DX 140 header. In road mode, the Windrower operates in reverse, with steering tires at the front and drive tires at the back. The operator’s seat is rotated for proper field positioning.
The DX 140 XL header, which has a wide working area of 12.2 meters, is shown cutting what seems to be barley, laying the whole plant in a neat windrow between the tires. Both the M1240 and DX 140 XL are part of the MacDon pre-order bonus.
The trailer also showcases weed harvesting and the FD 140 Flex Draper header paired with a Case IH harvester for long-grain rice. Lastly, the R16 SP Rotary disc mower, combined with the M1240, is featured, mowing hay at speeds of up to 16 mph (26 km/h).
