Why does it take over a year to grow cannabis??? It’s not a tree, it’s a weed that can’t survive through the winter. If you plant in March it’s not ready for harvest until September of the next year.
If anyone wants to fix the growing cycle for cannabis you can open the cannabis.xml and replace the growing cycle with the code below.
Bah, they removed the xml code. If you look at the growth cycle it has 2 stages in the first growth cycle. I moved the second one down and then moved the second one down to the next cycle and moved the one there to the next and so forth until the endstate=”greenBig2″ was in the MID_SUMMER cycle.
I have also lowered the yield back down to double what it was in version 1 because the change in this version was way too high. Before it took just over a row to fill my harvester, that went to 4 harvesters full in one row, way too much.
i think the silo’s on the map are bugged – i harvested a whole field and when i went to go fill the trailers it wasnt there xD
and thats the story how i rage deleted this map (im sure i’ll download it again eventually, this author is the only source of cannabis based farming shenanigans)
hopefully we will get the cannabis mod I use in FS22. It uses green houses and has productions associated with it so you can make clothes and other hemp related items to sell. It is not as much of a money maker but it’s more in line with the rest of the game. In this map there is really no reason to grow anything else and after a couple years you will own the whole map. Even after lowering the yield back down I made close to 1mil off of 2 of the fields next to the starting farm. I didn’t have any issues with silos, only the missing train.
BTW, the cannabis swath is still broken, you can run over it with the harvester as many times as you want getting the same amount from it each time. Plant it once, then if you need money just re-harvest the swath over and over.
You say the train is free to use but there is no places to call the train, how are you supposed to use it?
Love the fact we can grow cannabis on this game but would love a map that don’t have so many trees …and larger fields would be nice
the sound keeps cuting out
There is no farmers market on this map which breaks half of the contracts and makes you sell crops at lower prices sometimes. It works in version 1.0 but both versions have the bug in the growing season. I posted a fix for it on his facebook since modhub won’t allow the xml code.
Not that posting this will help since there has been absolutely no replies to any post here or on the facebook page by the author. But at least it might stop someone from wasting time on a farm only to find out it’s missing a major sale/contract location.
Still no fix?
