Say Hello to Baby Farm Animals in Farming Simulator 25!

I can’t say for certain if Farming Simulator 25 will be the pinnacle of the long-running series, but it’s definitely shaping up to be the most adorable. During Gamescom 2024, GIANTS Software unveiled some of the latest features for the ninth main installment, including the introduction of baby farm animals.

In this new version, farm animals will now have offspring, allowing players to witness them grow into full-sized livestock as they roam the pens. Farming Simulator 25 also introduces goats and water buffaloes, which bring with them new varieties of milk and cheese.

Another major update is the inclusion of dynamic weather effects, such as tornadoes and hailstorms. These weather events can create treacherous road conditions, reduce visibility, damage fields and forests, and even whisk away hay bales.

For those who prefer a more relaxed farming experience, there’s an option to disable crop destruction from extreme weather.

Digital farmers can now expand their crop rotation to include rice, spinach, and more.

Farming Simulator 25 is the first new entry in the series since 2021 and is built on the new Giants Engine 10. This engine upgrade brings dynamic weather, enhanced shadows, ground deformation, and more.

Players can choose between American, European, or East Asian farmland, including rice paddies, and will have access to over 400 licensed farm machines and items.

Farming Simulator 25 is set to launch on PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S on November 25. In the meantime, take a look at our list of cozy farm sims to tide you over.
